Now in its fifth year, the PMC Bolton Kids Ride expects 150 children, ages two to 14, to ride continuous loops around the Emerson and Florence Sawyer School grounds. There will be three routes: Tykes & Trikes, a short loop directly in front of the Sawyer school for young children on tricycles and beginner bicyclists; Hardtop Challenge, a half-mile loop on paved surfaces for children ages 4 to 14; and the Ultimate Bolton Challenge, a one-mile loop on both paved and off road terrain recommended for children ages 9 to 14. The PMC Bolton Kids Ride will provide many fun activities including barbecue, ice cream, face painting, bike decorating & more. Music will be provided by DJ Alex Leblanc and the MC for the ride will be Sawyer Assistant Principal, Joel Bates.

To give the cyclists an additional push, the PMC will recognize young cyclists who raise $250 or more. Riders who meet this goal will be honored as Heavy Hitters and will receive a hat, certificate and sticker to place on their helmets. In addition, all PMC Bolton Heavy Hitters will be recognized at the event and at a special PMC Bolton Kids Ride movie day provided by Heavy Hitter sponsor, The Strand Theater of Clinton, MA.

PMC Bolton Kids Ride encourages participants to ride as a team. Teams can ride in honor of a family member or friend or paired up with a pedal partner. Teams can easily be set-up or joined during the online registration process. Gather your friends; come up with a team name and ride together to help kids with cancer.
