Welcome to the PMC Exeter, NH Kids Ride!

Please join us for the third annual PMC Exeter/Stratham Kids Ride. We are looking forward to a fun-packed morning raising as much money as we can for cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute while fostering a love of fitness and philanthropy in the kids involved in the ride. Timberland has generously offered us their support with the space and volunteers, so even the youngest kids can ride in a safe environment.

Children ages 3-13 are invited to register to ride. There will be a fun and shorter obstacle course for kids aged 3-6 (or kids on 3+ wheels) and a larger loop within the industrial park for kids ages 7-13 (or kids on 2 wheels). Kids 14 and older who would like to be involved are encouraged to volunteer. There is a role for everyone!

The morning starts off with registration or check-in for pre-registrants at 9:00am. We strongly encourage people to pre-register online as this will allow more time to enjoy the various activities when you arrive. There will be a special raffle prize that only those riders who have pre-registered will be eligible to win. If you do register on the day of the ride, we strongly encourage you to bring cash or a credit card number to pay you registration fee.

At 9:45am there will be a brief opening ceremony with some music from a local pipe and drum corps. At 10:00am the ride will begin. After the laps are completed we will have an after-party to celebrate our accomplishments with a DJ providing music, some refreshments, face painting and various raffles. There will also be a table from Exeter Health Resources Healthreach with information about helmet safety for kids.

The cost to register is $10, which covers the cost of the PMC Kids tee shirt and water bottle that each rider will receive. We have chosen not to impose a fundraising minimum this year although each rider is encouraged to raise as much money as they can for this wonderful cause.

PMC Kids Heavy Hitters - New for 2010! The PMC Kids Rides are proud to announce the creation of a PMC Kids Heavy Hitter program. Many of the riders who reach this level of fundraising have a direct link to someone who has been affected by cancer, and many others want to put in extra effort to help those who are affected by cancer. Each motivated rider who raises $250 or more will be honored as a PMC Kids Heavy Hitter.  These PMC Kids Heavy Hitters will be recognized with a special PMC Kids Heavy Hitter baseball hat and other items to distinguish their achievement.

The event will occur rain or shine - only a thunderstorm will cause a cancellation. See you there!
