You can easily raise $50.00 by holding a lemonade stand on the bike trail, a baseball game or scouting event, not only will you have fun you’ll be making a difference! Ask your family, friends and neighbors to sponsor you too. Donations can be collected on-line or use the pledge form and you can bring your donations to early registration or to the ride on September 11th.
Riders that raise $250 or more are Heavy Hitters. Heavy Hitters will receive a Heavy Hitter baseball cap and certificate after the event.
NEW THIS YEAR – special prizes for riders raising $500, $1,000 and $1,500 before September 11th. Some of the prizes include a Red Anniversary Edition Wii, engraved iPod Nano and more.
Routes
Minor League 2 – 6 year olds
Major League 7 – 10 year olds
All Stars 11 – 15 year olds
The ages above are a recommendation, feel free to choose the route that best fits your riding skills. Riders will ride in small groups with an adult Ride Marshall leading the group and an adult Ride Marshall as the sweep rider. There is a first-aid/water stop at the half way point on both of the Major League and All Star routes. Remember your bike safety rules; right on the right side of the trail, give yourself enough space between other riders and let others know that your turning by using hand signals or calling out. Ride slow and safe, this is not a race.
Helmets are mandatory for all participating riders and adults.
