Welcome to the PMC Littleton Kids Ride!

On Sunday, May 31, 2009, Littleton will be hosting its first PMC Kids Ride! The event will be held in the parking lot of IBM (550 King Street, Littleton, MA) from 8:00am – 12:00pm. Kids age 4 – 13 years are invited to participate in one of our three closed loop courses. There will be a “Tykes on Trikes” Obstacle Course for young, (4-6 year olds) three wheeled riders (training wheels are acceptable). For the older riders there are two loop courses to choose from. A shorter loop designed for the novice rider and a longer loop course for the more advanced rider. The riders will ride the loops as many times as possible until they are tired out or the ride ends. Rider registration is now CLOSED - please contact Jonathan Isaac for waitlist information at jwando@verizon.net.

There will be entertainment throughout the event, including a bike decorating area, face painting, and a DJ. The annual Littleton Touch a Truck event will also be on site for the enjoyment of both riders and their siblings. At the end of the ride there will be a party that will include food, drinks and drawing of the raffle prizes.

All registered riders will receive a PMC Kids t-shirt and water bottle.

Support your child or sibling by getting involved and volunteer at the event! Click on the volunteer tab to read a further description and to see what positions are available.

The mission of PMC Littleton Kids Ride is to include young cyclists in the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) mission of raising money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. The program engages youth in philanthropy and teaches them the value of working for the benefit of others. The ride also promotes athletic fitness and physical activity among youth.
