Welcome to the Wilmington PMC Kids Ride!

The Wilmington PMC Kids Ride is ready for their 14th ride! Last year we raised over $15,000! The ride will continue to be headquartered at the Boutwell Elementary School in Wilmington. We are hoping for 200 children, pre-kindergarten through sixth grade with a goal of $18,000!

Ride History

The ride was started by Sue Hendee and Carolyn Priem, and has collected just over $170,000 to help fight cancer! Sue is a 28 year PMC rider and a physical education teacher in Wilmington. Carolyn’s son was treated at the Jimmy Fund Clinic and is now a healthy high school student. Five years ago we welcomed Sheila Salois as another coordinator who has taken over for Carolyn. Sheila is a physical education teacher at Andover High School and Carolyn continues to help us out at the refreshment tent the day of the ride.

Register to Ride

Parents will need to create an account or log in with an existing account in order to register their child or family. When creating an account, please enter the parent's information first as there will be a separate part in registration to enter the child's information. During registration there is the option to join or create a team, as well as create a family page. Parents will need to sign a waiver and commit to the $30 fundraising minimum per rider.

Once registration is complete, parents will receive an email with information on how to log into their management page to customize donation pages and to track donations.

The fundraising minimum for each rider is $30 and is due by September 1, 2019.

Riders who go above and beyond with their fundraising will be recognized Heavy Hitters or Breakaway Fundraisers and will receive a special gift in recognition of their fundraising efforts.

  • Heavy Hitter – $300+ (riders will receive a sack pack)
  • Breakaway Fundraiser– $800+ (riders will receive a backpack)

To help us reach out goal of $18,000 we will be raffling off PMC items! Each rider who raises over $30 by ride day will be able to enter the raffle. The more money you raise, the more chances you get to win the raffles!

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Wilmington PMC Kids Rides relies on local sponsors to help keep costs low and so that the PMC can continue to donate 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
